Obwohl Gordon in einer Winzerfamilie aufgewachsen ist, entdeckte er seine Liebe zum Weinbau erst nach dem Abschluss seines Wirtschaftsstudiums. Mit grossem Enthusiasmus experimentierte er auf eigene Faust und erarbeitete sich dadurch viel wertvolles Wissen. 1999 übernahm er den Betrieb von seinem Vater, einem Cape-Wine-Master, welcher das Weingut 1995 gründete und zu den Pionieren im Hemel-en-Aarde-Valley zählt. Nadia ist Winzerin in der 6. Generation und wuchs in der Nähe von Robertson auf. Nach dem Önologie- und Weinbaustudium arbeitete Nadia einige Jahre im Constantia Valley. Laufend probieren Gordon und Nadia gemeinsam neue Ideen aus, um ständig auch die kleinsten Details ihrer Weine weiterzuentwickeln und zu perfektionieren. Nadia und Gordon legen grossen Wert auf vollständig natürlich produzierte und zeitlose Weine, welche sich durch ihre reinen Aromen auszeichnen.
